My name is Lara Murakami, and I am merely a teenager who has opinions about books.
My goal here is to keep my posts short but sweet. Informative, opinionated, and brutally honest. However, when I feel passionate about a subject, I might go off on a tangent; on a rant.
I want to add that I will not be doing extensive research for my reviews, but will be reviewing based on my experiences reading the pieces.
Here are 3 of my strongest (and somewhat controversial) book opinions:
1. The Divergent Trilogy is severely overrated. The main character is annoying, the plot is questionable, and the writing style isn't my favourite.
2. We'll Always Have Summer should have ended differently. I can't say much without spoiling the book, but let's just say, the third book in "The Summer I Turned Pretty" trilogy was unnecessary for me.
3. Harry Potter is the most irritating protagonist to ever exist. I don't know if it's just me, but he was completely fine throughout the first 3 books. The 4th book was when the disaster struck; the 6th was when I wanted to give up reading.
Thank you for reading this post!
Love, Lara
You have very interesting opinions, Lara. Personally, I disagree with many of these, but you have very valid points. I noticed that you think that a lot of main characters are annoying. Ahere any book that you like there the main character is humble and less annoying? Also, very creative title ( I Rant About Books). This is very true of all your posts.👍😊
